Heyy Reader,
It has been a crazy few weeks around here. Things are changing quickly and we're trying to make sure we are all on board for what's next!
I've made it my goal to make a guest appearance on several podcasts and in several summits in Q1 and Q2, so be prepared to see more of those coming your way over the next few months.
I personally have an opening for an OBM client. If you know anyone who is interested, please send them my way! I'm hoping to fill the spot before mid-March. Feel free to forward them this email if you know someone!

THE BEST BUSINESS STRATEGIES DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES
Despite what the "gurus" are telling you, you don't have to follow the "rules" to be successful in business.
In fact, some of the best business strategies come from doing the opposite:
✅ Trusting your instincts
✅ Testing new ideas
✅ Ditching what doesn’t work for you (even if everyone says you "should" do it)
And that’s exactly what the Rule Breaking Entrepreneur Summit is all about! 🎉
🔥 35+ speakers who’ve built success by breaking the mold
🔥 Real talk—behind-the-scenes stories of what actually works
🔥 A permission slip to run your business YOUR way, on YOUR terms
If you’ve ever felt like traditional business advice just doesn’t fit you, this summit will be a breath of fresh air. Get your free ticket today and join me at the Rule Breaking Entrepreneur Summit!

5 AUTOMATIONS EVERY ONLINE BUSINESS SHOULD USE
As an ops person, I am big on automations, at least where they make sense in your business. While I understand that not everything needs automated, there are some things I think every online business should have automated. Here's my list:
- Booking Client Calls: With Calendly, TidyCal, HoneyBook, Dubsado, and all the other tools out there (heck, even Google Calendar now!) there's no reason not to have a way for potential clients and current clients to automatically book with you. Make sure this is complete with reminder emails!
- Social Media Scheduling: Once you create your social media posts, there is no reason you should be manually scheduling them every single day. With so many scheduling options out there like Meta Business Suite, Metricool, and Planable, there is no reason to put it on yourself to remember to post to each platform every day.
- Email Sorting: This is one of the first things I recommend and one of the easiest you can do. All you have to do is set up some quick automations to make your inbox super easy to navigate. You can automatically send certain emails to a folder, automatically sort your inbox by email type, and much more. Plus, it just makes everything so much less overwhelming.
- Invoice Management: There are so many options here and it may. not be realistic for you to completely automate invoicing depending on what you do, but this can even be as simple as setting up automatic reminder emails about unpaid invoices so that you don't even have to worry about that.
- Email Marketing: This is another one that has a lot of potential. If you are new to email marketing, though, I do recommend starting with a simple nurture sequence or welcome sequence welcoming your people to your email list.
MINI MINDSET MOMENT
PERFECTLY IMPERFECT IS STILL PROGRESS
I know this is a cliche in the online business world, but it is for a reason. I'm a recovering perfectionist. It wasn't until I started in online business that I realized it wasn't actually the strength I thought it was and it had actually held me back many times in my life.
Take a minute to think about it. How many times in your life have you not done something or not taken action because it wasn't going to be perfect.
For me, it was a lot. When I didn't reach my potential with Spanish (and still haven't) because I'm afraid to make mistakes, when I didn't put my first business out there enough because I was afraid to be judged, when I didn't join the softball team in high school because I didn't think I was skinny enough to play sports.
What would have happened if you hadn't been afraid of not being perfect?
What would happen if you stopped yourself from this point forward from not doing things when they aren't going to be perfect?

NO MORE INVOICING AND PAYMENT DRAMA
Handling money is my least favorite part of the job. How is it for you?
I highly recommend, unless money is your bestie, outsourcing your invoicing and payment collection as well as follow-ups. This can be to a bookkeeper, accountant, or even a VA if given specific directions.
However, depending on how much time you spend invoicing, taking payments, or chasing payments each week, it could save you a significant amount of time if you have someone else do it.
Just make sure your processes and SOPs are up-to-date before bringing someone on to help!
Thanks for all of the support I got for my last email. It was very difficult to send and I received more replies and comments on that email than just about any other I have ever shared.
Each of you are special to me and I look forward to how we can connect in the future.
