Hi Reader,
Ahhh! I don't know if I told you yet, but I hired 4 girls to work with me. I hired 4 freaking VAs. What am I thinking?
Well...first of all, I need help. My business is growing and I can't do it all by myself anymore. I need help to manage the backend things while I do what I do best, manage YOUR business.
I don't know what it is. I LOVE working on your businesses, managing them, running your teams, and setting up your systems, but when it comes to mine, it feels like work, not fun.
So I hired help. And when I interviewed them, they were all so amazing. I thought there was no way I could possibly choose, so I went with all of them.
But they need more hours. So for a limited time, I am offering VA hours at a discount of $35/hour. This offer is only available if you book a discovery call through the end of the week.
My Social Media Success Blueprint is 300+ content ideas for your business to help you gain followers and put out content every day of 2025. Plus, viral hooks and CTAs to help you up your social media game.
I am featured in Cat Griffin's Social Sells Bundle. It is available 12/5-12/12 and has all things social media from ideas to templates to courses. I am including my 90 Days of Social Media Content in the Social Sells Bundle which you can get for FREE! You can get it here. Are you ready to level up your Social Media Game in 2025!
SUPERCHARGED SYSTEMS
TOO MANY TABS? TOO AFRAID TO CLOSE THEM? SAME, FAM.
A few weeks ago I did a Google search on apps that help with ADHD management for business owners. While searching, I found skipper.co.
Super cool app. It's a Google extension. It's backed by research. What more could you ask for? Oh yea, it's FREE!
I've been using it since literally the minute I found it. It automatically gets rid of my 1 bajillion tabs. But the best part is, it SAVES THEM. In one little tab.
It doesn't take up as much internet, space, or thoughts in my mind. It's literally amazing. I highly recommend, especially if you're a tab hoarder like me.
Regardless of what you tell yourself, multitasking is not honorable. It is not some skill that should be sought after. In fact, you are probably less productive if you are trying to multitask.
One of my greatest "strengths" used to be that I could multitask. Then I learned more about ADHD and found I out had it. Then I got burnt out as a teacher and really started second guessing my thoughts about things.
Plus, like, research actually shows multitasking isn't as great as we think or act like it is. It hurts our focus. It hurts our work. It makes us LESS productive.
So stop trying to multitask. Give yourself a break!
THE ONE HOUR WIN
OUT OF OFFICE FOR THE HOLIDAY? READ THIS.
This one is more of a 10 minute win instead of a one hour win, but that feels like even more of a win to me.
Here it is: If you're out of the office (even if it's a chair in your kitchen...), then set up email autoresponders. Write out a response to be sent out automatically when someone sends you an email while you're out of office so they know when they can expect a reply back. This will save you so much headache.
If you're feeling real frisky, do the same things for other common emails you write. Like responses to inquiries. Or just general responses. It will save you a ton of time in the long run.
DELEGATION INSPIRATION
WHAT DO YOU LIKE THE LEAST?
This may sound so simple, but one of the first things you should delegate is what you like the least. Seriously. Even if it's easy. It's draining your energy and you deserve peace. Get rid of that negative energy and delegate that shit.
TIME FOR WHAT YOU LOVE
ARE YOU A JOURNALER?
**Google is telling me that journaler is not a word, but my knowledge of English is telling me that if you add an -er to a verb, it becomes a noun meaning someone who likes to [verb], so we're going with it, okay.
Anyway, if you like to journal, this section of the newsletter is for you!
I'm not always a big journaler, but I found Ruth Poundwhite on Facebook several years ago and she is big on journaling and it does help me.
So here goes: Why did you start your business? Reconnect with the core reason behind your work.
Feel free to hit reply and share with me and I will share back with you. Accountability is everything.
I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to start a co-working community for online business owners. I've joined a few, but they have kinda flopped. People stopped coming or the organizer stopped organizing, so I thought I'd take matters into my own hand.
Hit reply if you're interested and I will see what I can do about making it happen.
This would be a 100% free community and fully require participation by other to make it happen.
