Today is the first day this week we haven't been under an Extreme Heat Warning in Mississippi. I didn't even know those existed. I thought there were just advisories.
We went to do a curbside pickup yesterday and took our dogs. Our car really needs to have the AC recharged or something because if the car isn't moving, the AC does not work. We were sitting in 115+ degree heat with my poor dogs for 30 minutes because they were running behind.
By the time we left, we were all sweating. And my doggies didn't go anywhere for the rest of the day because we didn't want to have a repeat and risk their health. They usually go everywhere, but I had to leave them home.

I've been working behind-the-scenes all year trying to figure out what I wanted my referral partnership to look like. I've soft-tested this, pitched that, and still found things to tweak.

I've had Sales Calls where the potential client knew they were going to book with me because of the email they got after booking. They could tell my systems were so well done that they would be taken care of.
It's an easy change that can make a big difference. And the best part is, it's automatic!

Take an hour this week to write them down and answer them.
Then give that away as a free resource, or, better yet, send that in the confirmation email when they book a call with you.

DO TIMEZONES MATTER?
Let me preface this by saying, I hate timezones.
When I first started out online in 2020, I lost a few clients over timezone mishaps.
Lesson learned.
So when you're hiring a VA or anyone you want to outsource part of your business to, do time zones matter?
In my opinion, no.
If you can find someone you love in another timezone who can do what you need them to, I see no problem with having them work from another time zone.
In fact, I've found that many people will work in your timezone even if it's quite different from their own because that's where most of their clients are, where the work is, and where the money is, so they are used to working non-traditional hours for their timezone.
If you've found someone you love, but you're worried about the timezone difference, I recommend you ask!

The school district the next county over from us started school this week!
And while my kids are homeschooled and we do a year-round schooling approach, I still think that's really early for public schools.
So I challenge you this week (or weekend!) to take some time to enjoy some summer fun!
We're planning on getting water balloons and having a water fun day this weekend!
